The 12^th International Professional Construction Exhibition KyivBuild 2008

The 12^th International Professional Construction Exhibition KyivBuild 2008 organised by Premier Expo (Ukraine), ITE Group Plc (UK), GIMA (Germany), ITE Turkey (Turkey) is to take place at the International Exhibition Centre (15 Brovarsky Ave.) from February 19 to February 22, 2008.

Mission

For the last several years the construction sector in our country has been booming: since 2001 the construction materials sales volumes have been increasing by 20-40% each year, amounting to over USD 600mln. at present. The 12-year's long exhibition project - the top International Architecture and Building Trade Show KievBuild 2008 - has become a highly demanded and efficient tool for business communication of manufacturers and suppliers in construction materials, technologies and services sector, on one hand, and consumers, on the other.

Paradigm

KyivBuild is one of the major world's construction industry events. The total exposition area is over 21,000sq m. More than 800 companies from 25 countries are participating in the exhibition. The event main purpose is to show the latest developments in producing construction materials and equipment, process innovations in mounting and operating water supply, heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems as well as modern cottage construction know-hows and landscape design principal trends. The list of the most active exhibitor-companies includes: EUROSTONE  ENGINEERING, JUMA VOELLER, GBC MARMI & MARMI BACCI, SK INNOVATIONS, Strommash, VELOX, Welser Profile, Technopark, SCANDI, Runatel Eko, MD GROUP, INKERAM etc. It has already become a tradition that KievBuild attracts enormous attention not only of professionals having business at construction market, but also of the whole business community, with the number of visitors totalling over 27,000 people annually. In 2008 - for the first time - PREMIER EXPO Company is launching several exhibition projects that proved to have been of great success, and have deserved the merit to be identified separately from the general KievBuild structure.

Alongside the KievBuild 2008 two more events will take place: PLASTEX UKRAINE 2008 Exhibition as well as the International Conference ‘POLYMERS IN UKRAINE - TECHNOLOGIES, INVESTMENTS, DEVELOPMENT". In 2007 the exhibition was held on February 20^th - 23^rd, with 83 companies from 14 countries, including national expositions of Austria and Germany being exhibitors. The gross exhibition area was more than 2,500 sq m. Historical Data

Exhibition KievBuild (Building Materials, Equipment, Services) was first held in 1997. The initially high interest of foreign companies (over 80% of the first exhibition participants) caused the establishment of collective stands for separate countries: so the National Stand of Finland has been presented at the Exhibition since 1998, the National Stand of Poland - since 1999, National Stands of Russia and Germany since 2004, and Korean, Chinese, Greek, and Brazil collective stands since 2006.
